The Tobago Progressive Association (TPA) of the U.S.A., Inc was founded in 1989 by the late Dr. George Oliver Phillips and a small group of compatriots. The Tobago Progressive Association was incorporated as a Not-for-profit organization in the State of New York in December 1990. It’s name was then officially changed to the Trinbago Progressive Association in 2015.
The organization is established to identify and provide needed services to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families living in the New York Metropolitan area and to institute and organize cultural and social programs for the advancement of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, and of the Caribbean residing in the New York area.
The organization seeks also to recognize and initiate projects to aid the islands of T&T in the areas of health, education and social welfare.
The TPA has sponsored teams of healthcare providers and professionals on ten (10) Medical Mission trips to Trinidad and Tobago.
On every occasion we provided free medical screenings as well as intensive education and information in dental care, cholesterol monitoring, diabetes management, high blood pressure, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS awareness testing.

The Arizona Caribbean Festival and Carnival is the creation of many individuals who saw the need to bridge the Caribbean Culture through Art, Costume, Dance, Drama, Voice , Poetry and Music that uses the Steel pan, zouk as the focal point in determination, persistence and love of creativity and accomplishment. We are One Voice, One People in Unity making a footprint to insure our cultural heritage and legacy is embedded in the history of the State of Arizona.

Our Children The Future
The Mission of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC. (OCTF INC.) is to work collaboratively with local communities in Los Angeles, Trinidad and Tobago and other International communities, providing for less fortunate children in these communities, through education, finance and health care.
The goal of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC. is primarily to support children in the need in the areas of Education, Health and Financial Support. The intent is to provide various avenues of support to assist in making the family’s stress-status less arduous.
Their target population consists of several communities within the Los Angeles City area, economically challenged communities of Trinidad and Tobago and other international communities
