Last Sunday, March 17th, marked a momentous occasion for the Trinbago Diaspora Outreach Network as we launched their inaugural promotional event at the Southern Games in San Fernando. Under the leadership of our Chairman, Dr. Andre Phillips, the TDON planning committee unveiled their exciting plans for the 2024 Diaspora Homecoming. This highly anticipated event is set to take place in San Fernando from July 4th to 7th, graciously hosted by Mayor Robert Parris.
The energy was palpable at Skinner Park, which recently underwent a stunning refurbishment. Hundreds of spectators gathered to enjoy the thrilling athletics and cycling competitions, with the TDON team proudly participating as guests of Mayor Parris. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm, offering a refreshing and electrifying experience for all in attendance.
As TDON continues to build momentum, we will continue to announce additional promotional activities scheduled for April that are set to take place in various locations throughout Trinidad. These initiatives promise to further engage the community and build excitement for the upcoming Diaspora Homecoming. Stay tuned for more updates as TDON brings the spirit of Trinidad and Tobago to the forefront, celebrating the rich culture and heritage that connects us all, no matter where we are in the world.
