The Trinbago Diaspora Outreach Network along with our travel industry partner, Authentic Trinbago Vacations, will be involved in culinary festivals, as well as cultural and historical re-enactments to help rekindle interest for our international diaspora to re-visit our homeland. The historical re-enactments we’ll be engaged in will include Camboulay in Port-of-Spain on Emancipation Day (August 1st), the Moriah wedding in Tobago and Hosay Riot in St. James.
The culinary activities will enable us to have the widest exposure to the ethnic & multi-cultural traits around Trinbago delicacies. Savoring the unique and cultural dishes of Trinidad and Tobago is a major attraction for our overseas nationals to appease their nostalgic tastes. We will also be engaging the Regional Corporations in The Trinidad and the Tobago House of Assembly to help further our goals.
