On Sunday, July 7th, the Cara Hotel played host to a night of glitter and gala as the first annual Diaspora Patriot Awards dinner honored 15 outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions to philanthropy and cultural promotion of Trinidad and Tobago. The event showcased the global reach of Trinidad and Tobago’s Diaspora community, with attendees from the USA, Canada, and the UK. Among the notable recipients were the Trinidad and Tobago Alliance of North America, Inc., the Naparima Alumni Association of Canada, and the Trinbago Progressive Association.
