Tennis prodigy Dillon Beckles is making waves in the world of junior tennis. He is currently competing in the ITF tournament being held in Trinidad and although he is representing the USA, Dillon Beckles still has love for the country of his father’s birth – Trinidad and is also a Trini to de bone.
Dillon has been playing tennis competitively since he was young, and his hard work and dedication have paid off. He has ranked as high as number 11 in the United States age 14 division and as high as 54 in the age 16 division.
Despite his success on the international circuit, Dillon was eager to return to his roots and compete in Trinidad and Tobago. He chose to play in the April ITF tournament, which is being held at the Trinidad national racquet sport center.
Dillon’s journey in the tournament has been impressive so far. He has made it to the finals as the second seed in both the singles and doubles competitions. His matches will take place tomorrow, and he is sure to give it his all.
For those in Trinidad and Tobago who want to support Dillon, his matches will take place at 9am at LP#8 Orange grove road, Tacarigua. It’s a great opportunity to cheer on a talented young player and show your support for trinbagonians in the tennis scene.
We wish Dillon the best of luck in his upcoming matches, and we are excited to see what the future holds for this promising tennis prodigy.
